There is central heating throughout the house. The temperature of each guest bedroom is controlled by thermostatic controls on the radiators. The beds are made with sheets and all-season duvets. We provide fresh white towels and soaps. Each bedroom has a ‘hospitality tray’ with tea, coffee, hot chocolate, biscuits and a jug of fresh drinking water. In each bedroom, there is a hairdryer, information folder, visitor attraction guide and TV with remote control. Each room has storage space which usually consists of a wardrobe or hanging unit, dressing table with drawers and bedside cabinets.
Our single standard rooms share a private bathroom with shower and toilet on the first floor. The bathroom is kept locked for sole use of the guests in each single room.
Our ground floor double en-suite bedroom (Room 7) has its own access from the car parking area. The bedroom door width is 74 cm with a step height of 10 cm and a doorplate height of 6 cm. The bathroom incorporates a toilet, washbasin (with lever taps) and thermostatically controlled shower. The shower has a step of 36 cm. The bathroom is 173 cm long x 80 cm wide with a door width of 71 cm. This bedroom has a wall hanging unit, dressing table and two bedside cabinets with a lamp on each side. Guests will need to walk approximate 21 metres outside to the front door of the house to enter for breakfast served in the Breakfast Room.
