Is Holmlea b+b close to pubs, restaurants and shops?
Yes, a great choice of pubs, restaurants, and shops are within a five minute leisurely stroll.

Do you have parking?
Yes, at the front and side of the house. We have parking available for one car per room. Guests are welcome to park from 12.00 noon onwards on day of arrival.

Do you have free WiFi?
Yes, free wireless WiFi is available in all rooms. Login is by social media ie Facebook or Twitter login or you may create your own password to login by completing the on screen instructions.

How do I make a booking?
Bookings can be made by telephoning us direct on 015394 42597 or using the secure online booking. Reservations are taken on the understanding that guests accept our Booking Terms and Conditions.

Do you accept credit or debit cards?
Yes we accept the following cards when booking and there is no charge. Visa credit, Visa debit and Mastercard.
We do not accept American Express.

Is your bed and breakfast near Windermere Railway Station?
Holmlea Guest House is approx 1.5 miles from Windermere Railway Station. Taxis and buses run frequently from the station.

What time is check in?
From 4.00pm . Last check in at 8.00pm. Guests are welcome to park from 12.00 noon onwards.

What time can I leave my luggage on arrival?
Guests are welcome to leave luggage from 12.00 noon onwards.

Can I leave luggage on day of departure?
Yes if we are given 24hrs notice and subject to staff availability.

What time is check out?
Guests are requested to vacate the rooms and the car park by 10.00am on day of departure to enable us to prepare for new arrivals.

Do you accept late arrivals?
Our last check in is 8.00pm.

Do you take dogs?
Strictly no pets allowed with the exception of assistance dogs.

Do you take children?
Holmlea is exclusively for persons over the age of 18.

Are there walks from Holmlea b and b?
Yes there are some lovely walks that start from our doorstep. We can provide maps and information.

Do you take one night bookings at the weekends?
A minimum stay of 2 nights is applicable on normal weekends and throughout summer season (June – August). A minimum stay of 3 nights is applicable on Bank Holiday weekends.

Do you cater for stag and hen parties?
We do not cater for single sex stag and hen parties.

Do you have a guest lounge?
As we are only a small property, we are unable to offer a guest lounge.

Do you provide SKY television?
No, flatscreen LCD televisions in all guest bedrooms receive limited FREEVIEW digital channels only at this present time.

Do you have kitchen facilities?
No, the kitchen is for staff use only and we are not able to cook or reheat guests own food.

Do you allow hot takeaway food?
No, we do not allow hot takeaway food in all areas of the Guest House.
