Rowing Boat and Self Drive Powered Boat Hire
Windermere Lake Cruises offer rowing boat hire and powered boat hire. No boating experience is necessary. They provide full safety instructions, a guide to the lake and life jackets for everyone on board. Choose a boat to suit your day from a romantic traditional rowboat or a historic powered wooden boat. In addition, they hire modern powered cabin boats that have a handy sliding cover to shelter you from the elements and are extremely easy to drive. Electric Self Drive Boat Hire
Bowness Bay Marina offers their self-drive standard Mystic boats powered by a quiet electric motor for hire of 1 hour or more. They are able to carry up to 8 persons in each boat. Sailing Yacht Charter
No yachting experience is necessary. You can book a half-day or full-day have a go session with OB Sailing. A half-day or full-day sessions are available for up to four people. You can relax and let your skipper sail the yacht and take in the fabulous views of the lake and the Lake District National Park or have a taster and take control yourself. All boats are generally available to hire in person on the day. Booking in advance is recommended to avoid disappointment during weekends, Bank Holidays and School Holidays.
