The original Marmalade Festival is taking place on Saturday 14th March and Sunday 15th March 2020 at the Dalemain Mansion and Historic Gardens.
This is your chance to see wonderful homemade marmalade makers who have won accolades for their produce and to taste their award-winning marmalade of which will be sold by Fortnum & Mason.
In addition to the award-winning marmalades of the day there will be hundreds of Artisan marmalades from all over the world for you to try, watch demonstrations and to view all the delicious marmalade inspired foods.

Also Penrith town center is hosting a Penrith Goes Orange Day also on the 15th March 2020. The whole town goes marmalade crazy. There are food markets, music, and entertainment.
Penrith is approximately 1 Hour from Holmlea Guest House bed and breakfast in Bowness on Windermere with a great choice of local pubs and restaurants to suit all tastes.
